Finished!! What do you guys think about leaving that blacked out Dakota on there?

It looks pretty good in that picture but from when I did mine I would not leave the adhesive there. It tears and starts flaking off quite easily, give it a bit of time and it will look real ratty. Btw if you do decide to remove it or for anyone else doing this 3m General Purpose Adhesive Remover works wonders. I squirted some of that behind the badges, let it soak in for a bit, then carefully pulled the badges off after heating them up a bit. (If you pry them up put something under the opposite side of the badge so it does not dig into the paint) Then I just rubbed the adhesive off with a rag soaked in the 3m remover.
Haha...actually thinking about getting some AR ones...but more realistic to paint them for the time being...just gonna take a lot of work...blah. Might do that tonight or tomorrow night, since so many goodies are on the way.
**Edit** Decided to take off the black dakota glue area, hehe. Doesn't look right in the daytime, from up close anyways. Doesn't fit with the whole "clean" look either.

Okay, now I'm pissed! My badges are coming off this weekend! Altair, I'll take you suggestion and soak it with the 3M remover first since I couldn't get mine to budge before! I am going to take the badge and have one of the artist where my wife works paint it in black for me. He said he can do an exact match just by looking at it. I think I might center it at the bottom of the tailgate instead of where it was. What do you think?
