Painting Your Rims
Well...was doing 1 rim for a test run. Got everything said and done and put the clear coat on. It must have been a messed up can or soemthing because it dried a whitish color. Looks like permanent dust on the rims...So now I get to start all over. And don't use Krylon...

well, I wouldnt suggest regular spray paint anyway, but I would look for an auto clear... or even the dupli wheel clear.
I used all duplicolor wheel paints, and mine is still holding on. Kinda faded from the winter, but not chipped or anything.

Well, got her all sanded back down and ready to be primed. Primed it up, came back to check if it was dry and it was all cracked to hell...so I did it again...same ****ing thing...i'm about to set it on fire.
Yeah I didn't feel safe keeping those tires on mine after the rollover. No way to tell for sure if better tires would have kept me on the road but I know those sure didn't help.
Looks good. I like the look with black rims.
I agree about the tires...mine suck. I'm gonna have to get new ones before winter...though I'll be getting 45000 or so out of the stockers, and that ain't bad.
