Talking The Exhaust is installed...

Ok guys, after hard pressure from Altair (threatening to suspend my account), I am trying out Cherry Bomb Performance Mufflers. He suggested the Vortex, but I went with the Pro Series. I am very impressed. I always had magnaflow, but this exhaust is nice. Its not to loud at the idle, but still noticeable at higher rpms and the truck seems to be very response with the intake and exhaust both. I went with a stock appearing setup, single in and out exhaust. Here is some pictures of it and the new 4" tip along with a short vid clip (some other clips to come once I get home and round up a buddy to take the shots to show ya all the sound under a load) Let me know what ya think...oh yeah and an added bonus here are some pictures of the truck after being repaired from the rear end. It needs waxing still but thats 20 days out

Lol I threatened no such thing. Love the sound on that, told you Cherry Bomb was awesome . Yours sounds a bit more aggresive than my Vortex, once I get some serious engine mods down I'll have to switch to the Extreme

You better remove them nuts, or they are gonna attract the gaze of another queer F*RD owner and "Whammo!".

By the way, love the exhaust, I can't believe how good that Cherry Bomb can make even that little squirrel cage of an engine you got sound good...

They did a gret job with the repair from the accident. And the exhaust sounds great.

I have a question, however. Do you have the front resonator just behind the cats and then the Cherry Bomb? I ask because I do not have the front resonator. All I have is the giant muffler and the rear resonator and my concern is whether or not the Cherry Bomb or another muffler would give enough back pressure without a front resonator. Any feedback would be of help. thanks!

Thanx guys!

And silverghost, while it was being installed I noticed the truck didnt have the front resonator either, like the earlier ones did. It must be an 07 modification dodge did. It just had the two cats, the huge *** muffler and the rear resonator. I thought the truck had the same exhaust as most till I looked at it closer and found no resonator. Right now its just cats, cherry bomb, and straight pipe to the rear.

Wyatt it was all for you...haha no I was in a hurry to do it before I left for WV, I did the pictures and vid at work, but yeah I am in WV now for 2 weeks!

Highly doubtful, I didn't find any with mine and the design is pretty unrestrictive. http://cherrybomb.com/products/ Take a look at the cut-aways, the first one it comes up with is the one I have (Vortex) Bolt's is the Pro.
