Thanks for the info....I'll stare at it awhile and see what I'm gonna do... Might be a rainy day project.

Was curious how Frenchy's suggestion would look so I did a real quick chop of it. Personally I think the black bumper would look pretty sweet, it looks good like it is too but to me the black bumper seems a bit sleeker.

Played around with it a little bit more, let's see who spots what I changed first

Ok I need to stop playing with Photoshop and get my homework done...

Working with my dad on boats, it was my job to remove old decals off the side of the boat and the motor. A blow drier set on low heat, 3M adhesive remover and a little bit of patience, it ought to turn out just fine. Just my two cents.

Looks good Altair, back bumper and no decals and the shaved tail gate....something to consider...MoPaR4.7L, thought about a heat gun but thought it might leave more adhesive behind....I was watching "TruckU" on Speed last weekend, they used dental floss to remove side trim.....

Glad you like it, I just wish I could make the bumper look more like paint, I still haven't figured out how to change reflectivity in photoshop without screwing everything else up.

Oh, and did you figure out what changed between the first and second chop?

Epic Fail...

And no it's not lightened

To avoid further hijacking blkmagic's thread, it's the lug nuts. Back on topic!

Np, I was having too much fun chopping it, kept opening it back up and adding more, lol.

When I debadged my tailgate I used that 3m adhesive remover I mentioned earlier, let it soak in real good, apply some heat (not too much, don't want to burn the paint), slowly pull on one end of the badge and put a credit card or something similar under the other end so it can't dig into the paint. Then just use a soft rag with liberal amounts of the remover and rub off any residue. I did try the fishing line but it kept breaking and pissed me off.
