Can you help me out guys?
Remove positive cable from battery
Take end of cable you just removed and touch it to ground (metal part of frame, etc) for maybe 15 seconds
Hook cable back up to battery
Get in truck
Turn on key
Depress throttle to floor and release
Repeat 2x's
Turn off key
Now just start like you normally would
This procedure is called "A field dump".
There is no need to go thru the- disconnect this, scratch *****, turn key, bark at the moon, etc etc. All a waste.

It will work as far as clearing the ECU out of everything it learned. Lets see if it helps your problem.
Everyones method on Reseting the ECU sort of reminds me how everyone had there own way of getting regular NINTENDO games to work. "blow in it" "Flip it around 3 times in the air, blow in it, put the game in the nintendo until it JUST clears the bottom lip."

Typically, removing the positive cable 1st is bad advice. (Not sure if it's really necessary to ground it out anyways) Also not sure if that's what you meant but it seems that way when suggesting to ground on frame. Either way, taking the positive cable opens up the possibility of completing a circuit with a wrench.
Not bashing, just wanted to advise against doing this.

wow i dont know what im doing now...i was gonna try the "field dump" but now i feel like im gonna get shocked...
*sigh* maybe its just gonna have to wait till i get a re-flash from KRC =P
Dude just unhook the negative cable first if you're worried. Honestly I've pulled the battery out of cars or just disconnected it a ton of times, usually don't even pay attention to which one I'm taking off first just pull them off and yank em out. The odds of you getting hurt are slim to none unless you're insanely clumsy
