ok so they have come out with programmers for the 4.7 but does anyone know if there is one for the 3.7 dakota besides jet?

well that is no good. you cant get power out of this motor. Looks like i am going to fit a 5.7 hemi in the truck and go from there. I have taken measurements and it should fit with minimun modifications(motor mounts, electric fan, frame bracing for the extra weight). Workin on it the start of the summer. College is crazy right now.

what good is a hemi going to do with that weak a$$ tranny and rearend. keep the 3.7 and put a turbo on it. they make those.

I thought about that too but I want my truck to have some rumble. And as far as the tranny and rearend goes, I can buy a whole ram 1500 parts truck with a running hemi and good tranny that is low miles for about $3,000. Change the tranny over and then take and have a guy here in town rebuild the axle to handle the power with no problem.
