Default superchips programmer update

well guys, scott@superchips just confirmed that the programmer was released on friday for our trucks. here is the disapointing news.

performance mode only netted 8 rwhp and 20 ftlbs of tq

tow mode only netted 8 rwhp and 10 ftlbs tq

87 0ctane only netted 7 rwhp and 8 ftlbs of tq

the info is in the durango sect. i am not gonna pay 400.00 for something like that

UGH, only 8 rwhp, thats a tad expensive for only that

But I see 21 hp gains?? Is that what you got from an email superdak?

no info on those, but i know my jet chip changed my shift patteren and raised my speed limiter. kept the rpm limiter at factory 5800. kinda disappointing seeing how the 08 gained close to 50 at 4800 rpm. but that was hypertech. for the best gains. get the h.o. cams and have them installed. better power and worth the money.

SUperDak did you forget to put a 1 next to the 8 on performance gains?? I just got off the phone with Courtney from Tech and product information at superchips and she said that our tuner was "to be released by the end of this week"...

She said performance gains would be 18 rwhp and 20ft/lb of torque and ur right on everything else...but cant confirm because "it has not yet been released", she downplayed scott@superchips as a marketing assistant and not a technical information representative...

I recieved a Data sheet and it did say 18 rw and 20 lb at 4200 rpm?? i think plus or minus 100 rpms

other than that the other stats are right....

idk im confused...even Jegs is selling one now lol

If it gets this confusing im going with Jet and getting my cams in February lol

go to the gen 2 section of the durangos. scott has posted the numbers there also. same as what he sent me. how can you get 18 hrspr on performance and only 8 on tow. it should be 18 accross the board. unless he sent me miss information. gonna have to wait and see a full dyno sht, not just the final numbers
