You should always let your car/truck warm up, even during the summer. At least 30 seconds when its warm, and at least 5 minutes when its cold. This gives it time to get the oil pressure up, coolant moving, combustion chambers warm, etc. Prevents things like collapsed lifters, spun bearings, etc.

NGK Iridium IX stock #6441 ZRF6FIX-11 gapped at .044 Paid $58.00 out the door. I am really liking these plugs. Can't wait to put in the high octaine. Down to 1/4 tank. Gas is finaly down to about 2.35. I can finaly eat, wahooooo.....

Holy Crap! It's just got down to 2.77 here in NC. Guess that's what happens when your state has one of the highest gas taxes.

I'm glad to hear the plugs are working out for you. Theres a theory that a iridium tipped plug requires less voltage from the ignition system to produce spark, and in result it produces a weaker spark. This could reduce HP. So the gap is made wider then the OEM gap until they match performance specs with the stock plugs. hence the gap of .044, instead of the stock .040.
Seems like NGK knows what there doing if they are running good!
