yup that is why (around here at least) the cars most often seen in ditches are big SUVS driven my rich kids who cry to mommy and daddy for a new one the same day they wreck the first one

and the tires for stopping make a big difference. I still have the stock tires and they suck. even if it is just wet. That being said, in a storm last year, I was driving home, cars in front of me were spinning out. in 2wd I would not go anywhere so I put it in 4 lock. after a couple of close stops, I decided to put it in 4 low and just the motor alone with power to all 4 tires made the going possible. No more sliding to a stop and take offs were right there. My biggest worry at that time was the jerk behind me that doesn't know how to drive in snow an ice. (or coming at me and crossing over!)

lol yup thats my biggest worry too, the other idiots on the roads that dont know how to drive in the snow which is why i stay off the highway when it snows and take all back roads home much safer

while breaking a new trail is much more fun, the back roads are not always safer, and in my case are rarely ever plowed which sucks dick since nobody else knows how to drive in snow... i usually take the highway or other main roads since they are more likely to be plowed...
