Im looking to change the overhead maplights.. can anyone tell me the bulb, and dimensions i need to search for.. Thanks

 

Look in your owner's manuel if you still have it.

 

If you go here and put in Mitsubishi Raider and your year they'll list all the bulbs for different applications in your truck: http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...de/default.htm

 

How dare they dont have the Mitsubishi Raider.
but they do have the dodge dakota, i looked it up and it shows bulb 168, and 578 map light.

I looked on Google for the 168 and its the licence plate slide in bulb



and 578 is the right one because ive seen it, but i dont know the size

Looks like you need 2 guys and a boy to pull that map light housing out...yes, I removed the screw before someone jumps in....

 

You just gotta pull in the right spot, it comes out a little harder than you might expect but it's not too bad.
