Custom Fabricated Brush/Light gaurd
Well, after hacking up a dragster and a little tig welding, I came up with a conservative brush/light bar that installs WITH OUT deleting the factory tow hooks. The unit is completely removable and mounts the the two, inner studs that hold on the bumper. Currently, I am searching for 4, 6" off-road lamps to complete the package.

Good job on the guard.
But if you wanted opinions I'd say ditch it and build something more robust. You could weld tow hooks into a bigger guard so ditch the factory hooks too. Right now it looks like futon bed frame scrapped, reworked, and mounted to the front of the truck.
...get her a bigger christmas present...your Dakota deserves more!

Basically, I just wanted something to mount the off road lamps. The entire peice is construncted of chrome moly tubing. I agree, I don't feel like performing a pit manuever or anything. However, I can grab it and push up and down as hard as I can...it doesn't move.
