I am running 265/75/16s (31.5" diameter) Firestone Destination A/Ts on my 06 4x4. I have the 1.5" TM kit in the front, and I still get just a little bit of rub when I turn right, to the locks, while braking. Other than that, everything else clears. Eventually, when I get around the purchase of the Rancho shocks, this may cure my slight rubbage.

 

with stock I put 265-70-17 on my truck and they rubbed on the wheelwells up front when turning, the back was good as for using it off road I not sure if it would rub more while bouncing around went back to 265-65-17 Wildcounry XTX Sport tires and no prob. on my 07 ST

 

Just snip the inside of your fender flare, that is what I did. No more rubbage and you can't even see the cut since it is on the inside..


I don't think shocks will give any lift??

 

simple answer: yes

 

No, the shocks will not increase ride height. However, under braking or cornering conditions, it will help with my situation.
