Default Doing my part to stimulate the economy

Makes me wonder if I've lost my mind or something with the way the economy is right now, and my work slowing wayyyyyyyyyyyyy down for winter, but I did my part to get the economy going. No thanks to you guys (other than one) for buying my parts to help me pay for it! haha

Nice bike.

And sell the parts at a price that makes them an advantage over new! Sure, the leveling kit would be just a good in 50 years as it is now...but everything looks a little steep. The market is speaking...

The market is speaking? Half of then ARE new!

Go look on Ebay and you'll see my prices on the new parts are in line with the stuff on there. Hell, people can make offers. Geez dude, way to kick a guy in the nuts.

Nice toy! Getting pretty cold to ride it now though unless you live in the south.

You may want to consider cramerica's point on the parts, when selling something it's worth as much as they're willing to pay and as little as you're willing to part with it for, if those numbers never match up nothing sells. I will say I'd be very surprised if you get that price for the fan, don't really have an opinion what a good price is on the other parts although the price on the wheels seemed pretty reasonable to me.

He's not trying to kick you in the nuts man, people are always looking for a deal, buying from another person on a forum, craig's list, etc. tends to make people more anxious about the sale than buying from a retail/online store or a powerseller on ebay with 1000's of feedback posts so it can be harder to get people to bite. Not trying to tell you what to do with your stuff, you were wondering why people weren't jumping on it, just trying to give a possible reason.

Just sayin' dude, 2" leveling CNC milled anodized aluminum pucks are $99 on eBay. If the decision where to buy is basically the flip of a coin, they might sit there for a while...

Point 1: Like I said, People can make offers. Nowhere in my post does it say those numbers are the last word.

Point 2: $99 "pucks" on Ebay compared to me selling my kit for $100 shipped. Saves a guy $10 bucks from the way I see it. And mine came with a lifetime warranty (at least that's what it said).

Point 3: Not that I'm looking for pity, but the parts are only for sale because some *#&% decided to run me over and destroy my ride. I'd have preferred to get them installed instead of having to sell. That's why I took the comments as a kick in the nuts.

Point 4: Altair, I get your point. And while I'm not an Ebayer with 1000's of positive feedback, I have sold to people on here b4 and I'm sure they'd be willing to come to bat if anyone feels leery buying sight unseen from someone they don't know. On the few things that I've sold here, the buyers were totally satisfied. (hint hint potential buyers, haha)

I just hate this stuff sitting around going to waste. I'm not only trying to recoup some of my losses, but get the parts to someone that could at least put them to use and enjoy them. The help me pay for my new toy stuff was just an attempt at humor. And no, I won't get to ride til spring. I'm in the northeast so it really sucks having to wait. Bought it now cause I got a sweet deal.

Easy easy, of course you don't want to take a loss for your stuff. I'm not trying to discourage business. Just offering a first impression as to why stuff might not be moving as quickly as you like.

If I was in the market for that leveling kit, I'd have made you an offer, but I want to save up for a whole Rancho / Monroe front shocks and leveling kit package to save on the labor.

And most importantly, you have a sick bike and I don't...thinking about an MSF course this spring though.

Good luck!

Nice bike man...

You are in the same boat as I am, I bought my bike back at the beginning of October (because of a killer price for the bike and an individual who wanted to get rid of it) and now I have to wait and look at it... I have rode it a couple times, but damn its way to cold. We will have to get together and ride since you are only a few hrs away...
