spark plugs

Default spark plugs

this might sound like a stupid question but i was looking under the hood of my 2007 dodge dakota 4.7 v8 and was just wondering where the spark plugs are its kinda dark so i can't see much but can anyone help and sorry its kinda a stupid question

They are in there, below where your valve covers are, check it out when ya have light, they are stuffed somewhat inside the heads outa of view

The only stupid question the one not asked man, thats what we are all here for...to help out others

If you are gonna change em, be prepared for about half hours worth of work, 10 minutes for the passenger side, and the front 3 of the driver side, and 20 minutes for the far back one on the driver side...

Should be 8 unless ya have the 2008 and later models, which you don't so yeah 8 for 2007 and earlier

Well not to be rude or anything, but if you're planning on changing them, and on a v8 you don't know how many there are, maybe consider having someone else do it for you...

How many spark plugs is a legit question. I'm sure there is a majority of people driving hemi powered trucks that have no idea it has 16 spark plugs.

It all depends on what yr you have, same goes for the dakotas, most are 8 newer ones are 16
