Sway Bars gone bad ALREADY
Just to put my 2 cents in,..
Ive had a knocking noise from the front end of my 07 since 5k miles when hitting bumps normally at slower speeds. Ive had the end links repalced twice now under warranty but its still there. I have found it to be worse in the winter and the only thing ive found to fix it is the radio... (I turn it up). I plan on bringing it back in but I dont want a 3rd set of end links replaced.

Both of my end links were bad, one loose, one broken at the ball joint. This ball joint is part of the end link assembly, not the control arm ball joints. I have read of many others having problems with them. They are a pretty easy replacement, but you will pay $60 per side with no aftermarket options available.

Yea the end links! I'm having it fixed today, my truck has been at the Dodge dealer since 7:30am and it's already 2pm!
Yea, something needs to be done because once I'm off warranty I'm not gonna wanna pay anything for their defect.
Wow, that is insane! My truck has been doing this for a really long time, I'd say about 6 months, but maybe it's been longer? I'm not sure. It's just a pain driving with them that way.
I'm a girl lol.
All I know is that it's the rubber part on the sway bar I think that went bad.
So they're replacing it today.
I can't wait to feel the difference!

It's fine! Um how do I do that? I'm not too familiar... it did seem like a little much posting repeatedly haha. I was trying to reply to what people were saying, not sure how to do that without double posting unless it's all crammed into one, so thanks for letting me know!
Btw: We called the Dodge dealer to see if my truck was done yet and they said it wasn't the sway bars. They said something about a tie rod. So, they're replacing that, and then said the sway bars were okay and didn't know what the noise was... I was in there one week ago getting an oil change and the guy himself said it makes a really bad knocking noise and that I needed new front sway bars because the right was really bad...and then today he completely forgot all about it and said they needed to replace a tie rod and that was it...yet they had ordered sway bars... So we called him back and told him how he said it was bad himself, then he went back to my truck since it was up on the hoist and the REAR sway bars were bad. I don't know how he said the front ones were bad then all of a sudden they were ok and now my back ones are bad... Good thing we called or else I'd be without a truck another day...AH.

So I got it back finally and it was the sway bar links on my truck. Runs great now. They said it still knocks a little, but I have yet to hear it... =)

Yikes, I'd be worried to let the same dealership work on my vehicle after that. Did they charge you for the tie rod or is it under warranty?
As for replying to multiple people if you need to quote more than one of them there is the button to the right of the quote button which if you hover over it says "Multi-Quote". Just hit that button on all the posts you want to quote except for the last one you want quoted, click quote on that one like normal and they'll all be quoted in your post

Altair: Thanks! and yea, its really weird how he forgot...I'm so confused I'm not even completely sure what was replaced! I think they replaced the tie rods and then the REAR sway bars because the links went bad. Then again maybe he did replace the front? I'm not sure! I was so confused after he was confused himself lol. At least the problem is gone and hopefully it doesn't come back, but now I need new tires! And Yes my truck is under Warranty! so at least thats a good thing right...haha.
