Help with lowering spare tire
Can someone tell me how to lower the spare tire. I have the Key that lowers the cable. the tire lowers a little bit, and then gets hung up. The cable continues but the carrier that looks like a upside down T has a little prong that holds up. I know I'm not retarded, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it. Thanks

lift it up to where the cable is tight against the lowered wheel, but not all the way up.
reach over the top of the tire and squeeze the 2 metal clip things in toward the center of the wheel... then lower it again... if you got them in far enough the cable should lower...
I can do it now without thinking, but the first few times it was a bitch.
