Thumbs up i caught second gear today

just messing around on the way to work this afternoon, came off the light hard went thru the gears like at the track and when it hit second the backend jumped and herd a little chirp. never did that before. my truck likes this 87 octane tune when on the bottle. waiting for joe to give me the final word on when raceway park is open. gonna have to go and do some time trials.

What tune are you using?

and what type of tires, im going to be running a 100-150shot soon after i get my A/F Wideband hooked up and my SCT tune..

87 seems a bit low for running n2o i would think 93 would be safer with a set of 1*cooler plugs.. but if your only running a 50shot.. then i guess its all right.

its the 87 0ctane tune with 93 octane gas. just running the factory junk tires now, they spin like crazy, i have a set of m/t that i used to run on my buick grand national that i use on the truck. and i have the 65 shot in right now. truck is only a 4.7 with minor work done to it. so no big nitro power for it, unlike what the 5.9 can handle. now the buick was a totaly different animal.i have to go thru some old footage of lebanon raceway and post up some videos of wheel stands and stuff

ahh ok i thought you had a custom tune, your using the 87 tune on a superchips im guessing?

Either way not bad.

What do you have done to the 4.7 and is it Club Cab of Quad Cab? 13.7 with minor mods isn't to bad at all..

it is a club cab with 206 cams, just got done having head work, 4.10 gears, the nitrous, iat relocator, 180 stat, 70 mm throttle body, k/n intake, 3 inch single cat back with a larger y=pipe. its pretty fun when i sneak up on a magnum or charger and hang with them, and the superchips tuner
