Crewcab MPG
Is there a noticable difference in mileage for city/highway driving between the v6 and the v8? strictly crewcab responses please! Thank you in advance

Not that I have heard. It is so minimal that you should get the V8.

Its the reason I chose the V8 over the V6

the sticker only shows a diff of 1 or 2 mpgs... real world is showing the v8s getting as good, if not better than the V6

From seeing the responses in the MPG threads we've had in the past you're practically looking at a wash. With the extra power and better aftermarket support the V8 has I would suggest going for that.

My dealer told me they never order the quad cab with the V6, it just shifts too much under load and puts strain on the tranny that isn't needed.
BTW '05 Quad 4X4 V8 and the towing package.
12 MPG Cdn in town
17 MPG Cdn Highway

I typically get anywhere from 12-16 city, 15-21.9 highway.
I only typically get 15highway when i'm towing or hauling my dirtbike around.
