That is really high. I had my SI/SO Cherry Bomb Vortex installed for $120 including muffler. I supplied my own tip but with tip it would have been around $130. Find a local shop that's not affiliated with a big chain and have them give you a quote. I love the sound on my Cherry Bomb, it flows great too.

I've been wondering what it would do to drop the can on mine and leave both resonators on, rather than dropping the resonators and leaving the muffler. I'm thinking it'll be pretty loud. Has anyone done this before?

I thought about doing it before I installed the Cherrybomb, but I thought that it might be too throaty sounding, almost like the Chokemasters and I am not a fan Try it out, its worth a shot!

Got the exhaust put on this morning and I have to say, I'm pretty pleased. Sounds real nice--loud, but not too bad when cruising on the highway and whatnot. No drone at all. I'll try to get some pics up a little later and maybe a sound clip.

I'm up in the Tobyhanna/Mt. Pocono area. I frequent the Stroudsburg area often, and I work out in the Marshalls Creek / Bushkill area. I actually went to a shop in Stroudsburg by the mall to get the exhaust installed. Yeah it'd be cool to meet up with you guys and hang out. Put a face to the name, ya know?

I know Stroudsburg well. I used to live back east and graduated from East Stroudsburg Univ in 1994. Anyway, back on topic.

Altair, did you just have them replace the canister with the Cherry Bomb for that price or did they replace the piping too?

They cut off everything behind the factory Y and custom piped it, the only thing I supplied was the dual tip.
