Default E-Fan write up by studlyblueiz

Hey studly... I was going through the DIY section and 'refound' your write up...I remember that you installed it over the winter and waiting for the summer to see how it performed...so how did it do?

Sorry guys haven't been on DF in awhile and this morning my cpu has been buggin.

So far the fan has held up well and no issues during the summer season. I still haven't put the 180 tstat in and see how the taurus fan's low setting holds up to keepin it there.

Eric, I can't be sure right now but I think it was a blue wire...I'm so confused right now cause I've been installing a new wiring harness in my Jeep and everything is mixed. I'll try to check tomorrow. I only tried to hook it up once during the orig install but the splice connector I don't think made good connection with the factory wire (they're such a small gauge). So I haven't attempted it since.

Also, I can't remember if this is in the write-up but there's also a programmer made by Dakota Digital similar functionality to the one in my write-up. Just go to their website and do a search for "fan programmer"

I believe the wire you're lookin for is blue/yellow stripped going to the A/C compressor.

I haven't seen the controller you're using. I'll have to look it up sometime
