Default CAI Question

Hey guys I just joined this forum. I've been reading this forum for awhile now and I'm really interested in modding my truck. My question to you guys is how well do the K&N CAIs keep water out of the engine?

I'm really looking into one as my first upgrade and I'm kinda hesitant in making the purchase.

They dont allow any water in... the filters are oiled for this, plus they sit behind the heat shields... Get one, you wont be sorry

Considering the location you'd have to be doing some pretty serious off-roading or driving through floods halfway up the grill to start getting water in.

Welcome to Dodge Forum my dear dodge brother. Please excuse the two moderators for not giving you a proper welcome..... LOLOLOL

But no, water will not get in, unless what Altair said is true. As long as you dont use it as an amphibious water vehicle, or do insane mudding where the mud gets through your grill, past the heat shield and into your filter, then youll be fine...and feel a bit better throttle response, great sound, easy upkeep ( Million mile warranty), and a nicer look under your hood.!

I HAVE INCLUDED A PICTURE OF THE INTAKE IN MY TRUCK
