Default HID installed and running a problem

i just installed the hids from xenongate they lookawsome but i have lost signal on the radio when the fogs are on just wondering if anyone else has experinced this not sure if it is just a cowinsudence(or how every you spell it) just wondering if some can help thanks a lot

150 and they look amazing i will try and getpics soon i didn;t get the highs tho it was just lows and fogs

could it be that the battery is to weak any input is helpful

You just want to make sure your not put out any high frequencies into the frame... since thats where everything is grounded to.

The same thing is applied here as when you get transmission whine through your amplifier...

Double check grounds and move away from the frame...
Transmission whine? I thought that sound was from the alternator. You can use a capacitor soldered in parallel at the alternator to stop that. Never hear of the trans ever causing that. Is this a Dak thing?

I don't get any whine from my HIDs. What I did, used a relay. I have a + coming from the bat to the relay, and from the relay to both the ballasts, the relay can handle it easily. I then used the + from one of the OEM headlight circuits to activate the relay, and then hooked up the ballasts to the ground of both original headlight circuits. Nothing there, and I also do not have any of the metal of the ballast touching the frame, might make a bit of a difference.
