It only goes up to 10 or 15 maybe but I guarantee it gets there faster, I can do a small burnout with the thing (no it's not modified). I've driven a Prius, my friend was trying to convince me they were great so he talked me into driving his dad's for a bit. They have no acceleration, needless to say I wasn't impressed.

 

I'll still race you to 15. I have a prius and also can chirp them. big deal. Getting tired of all the "hate" posts here. sorry if i picked on yours. And I will take your "guarantee" on the acceleration. and handles better? I'll chaulk that up to a 'picnic'

B) Its a compact car with an I-4, and we all have trucks with either a V6 or a V8, most of us are power junkies... so yeah...

 

I've never said I hate prius owners nor is that the case, I don't think you have that impression but just to be clear. As far as acceleration and handling, well this isn't our mower but it's the same thing:



Hydrostatic drive, it goes up to it's top speed nearly instantly and as you can see it can turn within it's own radius so I think that covers handling

Actually my last car was a compact with an I-4, Integra GS-R 5 speed. Very fun little car, very good performance for what it was. The prius is good at mileage, that's what it was designed for. As a performance vehicle it falls on it's face, I care about performance and driving feel so it's not something I would ever consider.

 

never said you hated prius owners. I am talking about hate posts in general and I apologize you were the one I went too. there are others that post that got me going. So again I apologize. And just cause it's a DODGE site (I have a Dakota and a Carovan, just check my garage) Doesn't mean you should be able to trash another make. Hell, i see other DODGE owners trashing DODGE. and Altar, no quater mile, i'll race you in a 50 yard dash. our prius is very quick. Now if you want to compare, I call our prious a souped up golf cart. really can't get over the CVT but it IS quick, fast off the line and great on mileage.

 

Quick, my ***. It does the 1/4 in 18 seconds and does 0-60 in like 10 seconds.
