lmao Jeff Dunham rocks...

I wouldn't trash any non dodge cars, but don't go looking for love on a non manufacturer's site...

btw let me rephrase, not power junkies, performance junkies...

also all in all, although many of the posts may come off as hate posts, I think the majority ( although I can truely speak for anyone but myself) say these things as jokes, or at the very least we mean them in a loving way :-P

I've never driven a Prius. I've been in one and I think it's ugly. The arrangement is horrible, and the dashboard is like a mile long.
But on the CVT subject, the Caliber's CVT is no exception, that thing is a major slacker. CVT FTL!

Back on subject, I wish manuals were offered more widely, but alas, the typical American is lazy and dumb.

Agreed on both points, while I've never driven a prius, when test driving a caliber and doing research back when they hit the market as I was looking at a caliber R/T instead of my Dakota... the MOST satisfied caliber owners I talked to had manuals, the main thing others complained about was under powering, but in reality the world engine and CVTs were built for fuel economy not performance... :-(

Prius has been a great first try. Electrics like the Prius will pave the way for high-power electrics as battery technology evolves. Soon your high-end 4X4 will be powered by an electric motot on each axle....if not each wheel. I'm thinking 250hp and 500 ft/lbs....per axle. I know many of you hate this idea for a performance vehicle. Remember me when you are first impressed by one

Would love to see the response....

anyway.... yeah, the CVT is garbage.... Dodge DOES need a good affordable hybrid. We have SUV's, and the cars are coming. I just hope they are affordable for those women who want to buy them.

Don't get me wrong I like the idea of an electric performance vehicle, or any other alternative... aside from the silly sound, what really turns me off about electric vehicles is the battery, its one thing to need a batter to start a vehicle, is another thing to run a vehicle completely off one. Think about it, the older the car gets, the less ppl take car of it the shorter the range will be as the battery has less life, whats worse is the gauges may say the battery is fuller than it is... (yes I know fuller isn't a word). If a battery could consistently give you the same performance each and every time I would have only the issue of the way they sound see OT thread...
