the best thing to do would be to go to like best buy and actually see one. double dins are all pretty much the same size...

no prob frenchy, I am debating on that or shelling out the extra for the alpine...

alright i took it the dash apart to just see what i could fit back there and it doesnt look like much.... i think the mygig just makes it height wise..

Home on break so I'm not on as much as when I'm at school. You might be able to cut the bezel for a bit more height than the MyGig, not a whole lot though. From memory it fits right in behind too as if it was made to fit there. Whether it's the same size as a double din I'm not 100% sure, personally if it had been too big for the space behind I would have started cutting that too, course I don't know for sure what's behind the plastic there but I would have found out

it wont fit without cutting, thats for sure.

When I was making the quick measurements, I figured that the bottom of the unit would be very close to the bottom edge where it begins to slope for the HVAC controls. and ended right below the airbag indicator thing. it was the same width as the aftermarket HU I have right now.
