well the my gig might be a little out of my league and i think ive decided to do something different...
looking to get a in dash lcd monitor and have been looking at this one

was wonder if anyone has ever had problems with kenwood,
and if there is any other choices out there that are better or equal to the value of this one..
ive only really had alpine so im not really sure what head units are good..

oh any how do you guys feel on buying refurbished units?
i found this one for pretty cheap and i can buy the 3 yr warranty and still save like 100 bucks..

the one thing i want the most is the customizable background...

 

well it looks like i cant use it anyway the height of the unit is 4 7/16s which is way to big so back to looking for something smaller in height!

 

There's a lot of extra space behind there...

You can take a dremel and... caaaaaaarefully... cut it to size...

...at least I would assume you can...

 

well it seems like height wise its not going to fit bc it would end up taking out the vent controls.. im not sure what the height is on the mygig but hopefully i can find it....
i have no problem cutting the **** out of it lol not big deal just dont want to cut into areas that i dont need to....
