I tackled the outside of the truck yesterday... I clayed and waxed it today...

Do those ShAmWOW! things really work that good??? I've seen them in stores and looked and buying some, wasn't sure if they were worth the money though.

the "thing" is my cross over for my components...

the Red dak is my neighbor's...

The shamwow's are a good shammie. No they do not suck up water like the commercial shows... but they are a good shammie and absorb a fair amount of liquid.

just get aqua dry dude....5 bucks at walmart and works just as good if not better than shamwow...

My primary sham is an ABSORB it yellow and green... super nice and are tougher than heck.

Nice,looks like you did a real nice job inside & out I've never used a clay bar before how's it work?
I also had the same itch this past weekend,I washed/waxed and vaccumed my truck then looked at the wifes dirty ride so I tossed some attention to it I also washed & waxed her's I think all & all I almost spent 5 hrs. and maybe close to a rack of beers.

I hope it dosen't rain anytime soon.

the Spears are my own painted on creation... (that was fun... not)

Clay bar is easy, you spray the lubricant on, and run the clay across the body of the truck... you have to wax when your done...


I use the meguires gold clay bar kit from autozone... its like 14 bucks. comes with the lubricant and clay.
