Paul that is not the trans cooler, that is the power steering cooler.

The trans cooler is part of the radiator. If you look near the lower hose of the radiator, you will see two lines the protrude and clip in to a plastic bracket attached to the front of the oil pan. They then go back to the trans

For the brake controller, if I remember corretly its on the drivers side and its a blue plug that doesnt have anything plugged into it. If you have the tow package it would be there. You buy the wiring from dodge and solder it to your brake controller.

I don't know if I got the tow package, but it came with the harness to plug in under the dash and there is a plug under there for it to go into. but I had to install the trailer light plug behind the bumper on the truck as the truck didn't have one which make me think I don't have the tow package. I'm going to take a look under the hood for the rad, (the picture above looks like the rad for the engine, not the trans? I don't get it am I missing something??

If you didn't have the light harness you don't have the tow package.

There should be an auxiliary trans cooler in front of the radiator with the tow package. Basically 2 trans coolers with tow package.

Just follow the lines from the trans, they are right next to the lower radiator hose!
