I have an 05 Dakota 4x4. Does it have a transmission cooler? How do I find out? If it does, where would it be? thanks

 

If you don'yt have the tow package, then I believe you would not have the tranny cooler.

As to what it looks like, IIRC they usually look like a small radiator..should be either in front of or behind your radiator...

 

I do have the tow package. Is there a pic or schematic of it somewhere?

 

There is 'sticky' at the top for the service manual...

 

It would be a small radiator in front of your main coolant radiator.

not to steal the page but do all the trucks come with the brake control wiring harness or just the tow package one?

 

IIRC, only those with the tow package come with that...

 

The tranny cooler looks like this

and only the tow package had the brake port under the dash.

 

I don't have the tubing running in front of my rad but I do have to plug under the dash for the brake controller and the harness for it (stock with the truck from the dealer when I bought it)

 

It was listed on my window sticker after the tow package, Wonder if it was seperate from it? (seperate listing that is) Did you also get the plug for it? was in the glove box. I have that also. Do you have the tow package?
