Default MOOG Parts

Any know if MOOG has tie rod ends or ball joints avaliable for our trucks?? They make some good parts and I'm looking at replacing some things. I've looked at different sites and can't come up with anything.

If anyone has any info, it would be appreciated!

Thanks

Nothing yet.

If you need to do upper ball joints you need to replace the entire control arm. If you wan't to do lower sometimes rockauto has the lower ball joints in stock.

Moog does make tie rod ends for our truck though. Go on rockauto, they are by far the best.

It is a bit scary but, there is literally nothing. Only one company makes a replacement control arm that you can use bolt on moog ball joints with, but they are intended for angle correction on a 3" lift.

So does this mean we CAN have a 3in lift in the front?

Yes....

we can have a 3" lift in the front. StreetRidePro, aka AIM Industries, sells the upper control arms needed, as well as lift springs, they even have an entire4.5" and 6" lift kit, with everything needed to get the job done.

The fact is though, no one seems to like doing business with these guys. Apparently I hear returns just don't happen, and that they are pretty rude. Does that mean there product is no good? Not really, it just means there a PITA if you call about a problem.

I havn't done business with them yet, but the control arms are starting to look good 2 me.

They have new control arms for a 3"+ lift, and then they have adjustable control arms as well. They have lower arms for the lift too. The entire 6" kit comes with everything needed from what I understand. For a 2wd guy, you could get away with the new upper c-arm and springs, because there is no cv joints, but with a 4wd you would probablly also have to by there diff drop. I don't see any extended struts on the site, so I don't know how that is dealt with, although they must have some sort of longer strut for the 6" kit obviously.

If you look at the example picture next to the 6" kit, you can see the kit installed in the wheel well. It doesnt look like junk to me, but looks aren't everything. I would be thrilled to death if someone installed this kit from this forum. I don't have that kind of money to play with right now, but in the future if I need new upper control arms due to the leveling kit, I will most likely look into there control arms, because then I can simply replace ball joints when they go, and not the whole control arm, since they are bolt in.

Here is a link to all the goodies:
