I think it could work with some toying.

And those "one-offs" are totally (F-bomb) amazing!

 

If you're after a pre runner style light bar, have you thought about making your own? That is if you have the tools. I've mad a few for buddies rangers, and it wouldn't be very difficult at all to make one for the dak.

A true metal hooped one would look better as well IMO....

 

I have the tools to make one but I would perfer a factory style look of one. I mean i use the bed alot and dont need to put a roll bar for lights in it. I think that at the worst i would have to heat the middle of the bar to fit it to the curve of our trucks or sand it down some.
