Default higher stall converter on the way

i just ordered the aps street fighter braket 2400 stall converter, it is a new converter for our trucks, it is a fully rollerized converter, this converter has been out for sometime for the older trucks but this one has some upgrades. comes with the full carbon lock up clutches, and it improves the efficency over the factory converter from 82% up to 93%, which inturn brings the rear wheelpower up another 25 to 30 hpwr. this is an ideal converter for bracket racing which motors are supercharger, turbocharged, or nitrous. according to their website. what the hell for 460.00 i am gonna try it out.

i am gonna let the dodge team at my dealership handle this. that way if the computer needs to be flashed again they can do it all at once. its the only dealership that i let work on my truck. they know about my upgrades and just turn their heads. we are pretty much on a first name basis with these guys.

mike, why not 2800? worried about heat? you have bigger gears so you should be cruising in o/d anyways.....a bigger cooler would be an easy swap if your worried! ive seen 3000 with 456,s with only 5 degree bump in temp! well 2400 is an improvement for sure...do they offer 2600?

Hmm, very interesting, I am curious what it does to your mileage (not that you are worried about it!) . Do you have a transgo kit or sharadon valve body?

What do the OE converters stall at?
