The HO is already without one resonator from the factory. I like the sound from, well, from inside the truck. I thought about doing a dual factory HO setup.

I have the 2 cats and a flowmaster 40 series on a short exhaust. It sounds mean.

On my 05, I hacked off both resonators and had pipes welded in their place. Left the stock can on. That thing is HUUUUUUUUGE. Taking off both resonators helped the exhaust tone quite a bit in my opinion. Did nothing notable for performance though.

So far, the 08 has remained stock. I'm considering doing the same thing, hacking both of them off, leaving the football field sized muffler in place, just to get a bit better sound.

I'll go make a vid of my exhaust real quick, so you can see how that sounds. Compare it to how loud or quiet you want.

*Nevermind. It's too loud and was distorting the camera.*
