Default Brake rotors and pads

I know some of you have already installed EBC rotors and pads on the front of your trucks. Before I order them, I would appreciate any responses about them.
Are they a real improvement over stock ?
Which brake pads have you used with them ?
Are there other rotors which perform better ?
Have you changed the rear shoes also ?
I'm getting ready to upgrade my '05 QC to do a lot of towing during the summer.
Thanks for any advice.

Which brakes and rotors do you have, Eric?

EDIT, Found another post you had with a link!

Ironic, I was going to post about brakes yesterday but got tied up and never got to it.

Have any of you guys gone to ceramic pads? Or have most of you have upgraded brakes just gone with performance metallics? I've been looking at some one here, and for under a hundreds bucks and an hour or two to just drop in some ceramic pads it might be worth it, but I'd like to get some experienced opinions first.

Be careful with true ceramic pads, because they can eat away the stock rotor I went with a pair that was half and half and they where awesome to say the least way better than stock and the best part no more brake dust witch plagued the original pads.

From what I've seen they have a few options for are trucks, what's the "napa upgrade" refering to, just the basic or the premium?

Thanks for the responses. I forgot that I had posted these brake questions. Due to the economy, I have still not upgraded but am still planning on getting the EBC rotors and pads. My understanding of the NAPA upgrade is that they offer calipers with more pistons which might produce better clamping.
