I love having those lights, really lights up the road at night helps spot the wild life that's always on the road up here. more pics here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3195839/2

Thank you
Just my luck I'd get pulled over or something. Haha. But I would definitely like to have them, the brighter the better. It always helps!
Do you have a setting on your truck where you can shut those lights off if you want or are they set to come on when your regular headlights come on?

I have them setup on a switch on or off and then my high-beams have to be on as well, if I turn the high beams off the driving lights turn off, with the switch I can also have them off with the high beams on. works really well, the 55W are street legal but the 100W I put in are not, Good for the highways at night, just don't leave em on with cars passing you (blinding)

Nice idea. I like how you have it set up, sounds really easy.
Haha yeah people already get mad even when I just drive with my regular lights on! Apparently they expect me to shut my headlights off completely so I break the law, and get pulled over lol.
But nice set up, I really like your truck. The extra lights should just come on trucks, they're worth it. Must have cost a lot though...they don't seem cheap from that site you showed me and it must take a lot of time to hook them up.

Default lights

About $240-CAN, and took about 45min to install.

Just a tip) I found the lights on my truck from the dealer were pointed to high, if you look under the hood on the inside in the light just behind the rubber you will see a screw in the middle this will adjust the angle on the lights, a minor ajustment will get the other drivers out there off your back, if you can't figure out where or how to do this the dealer can do it for you easily.

running the wires took longer than anything for the install, oh and figuring out which wire was the high beam wire, not to hard if you don't get it the first time the second wire is the one. and the ground of course is the black.

Yaaaa, mine were angled high when I got my truck too, wouldn't surprise me if there were some workers who just didn't care about angling the lights correctly...

Just make sure you use the RIGHT screw to adjust them...

Mine are slightly high after the leveling kit. It's good 'encouragement' for the slow-mo's to get out of the way and move to the right lane on the highway.
