Superchips 3815 updates
Superchips is cranking out updates every few days with no update info on there website as to the changes made and what they affect. Database is up to V250.
All I know is my truck runs VERY good on the 91 octane setting and I get better mileage with it.
I find this frustrating they don't give us a clue what the changes are, and those of us with a Transgo shift kit need to know if they start increasing transmission line pressure because with the resistor in place line pressure can get to high and cause problems.
If you are as frustrated as I am join me on hammering them for more info on the updates. They have it, it's just a matter of a lazy web department not copy/pasting the info to there update page, (which is lame anyway) there is no excuse for this IMO. Any kink of software developmet has detailed information reguarding firmware/software updates.

That's exactly what I am talking about.
This is what the release notes say;
Firmware Version 1.29 - December 02, 2008
Updated TCM re-read for T-43 codes on 2004-2005 Durango and 2005 Dakota
Database Version 240 February 2009
Added new vehicle files
We are on firmware 1.32 and database 250, and the above descriptions are useless.
What is a "new vehicle file" and does it affect us?

That would be interesting. The thing I noticed the most in the most recent update (don't know which one did it) was the higher shift points, much higher, almost irritating. Won't shift out of first unless I let off the gas around 30MPH. anyone else see this?

After reading this yesterday I thought I would update the tuner and reprogram the truck. Yes i really do notice a difference. Shifting points are changed. I am using XS Milage tune. Tried the 91 before and really couldn't justify the additional cost in gas for what I got. We only have 93 around here. Once they come out with a 93 tune I'll try it again. Back to the XS tune, gear is held longer like LB says But if you baby it, it will shife at 2 grand. I think it really woke up the motor with this setting also. time will tell on the actual milage. so far, this generation of the xs tune I like.

all you need to do is get intouch with sc, and tell them what you are experiencing. they will custom write you a tune and email it to you. thats how i got my nitrous tune. by going into the mainsite and downloading the tune, you are also getting the hemi stuff. thats were the conflicting shift changes are. i have the 87 tune in and as of now at 1/2 throttle it will downshift into first and take off like a bat. tell them your tuner serial number and you would be good to go. it may take a day or two, but it will be good

You guys make me spend too much damn money! Haha, I don't care unless the wife complains.
