Default Adding Cruise Control, Please Help!

I have the parts manual for my '06 Quad ST and I have also downloaded the installation .pdf for adding the cruise control kit (82209241). The kit is around $200 shipped. However I looked into ordering the parts separately and the total is about $125. It is a total of 7 parts including servo, bracket, cable, vacuum line, kit, two nuts. The truck is prewired for cruise so I don't understand what the price difference is for other than connecting the separate parts. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Please look into and maybe we all who want to add cruise can save a little money. Thanks again!

Was that $200 from the dealer? Maybe it included the programming of the pcm for the cruise control? I dont believe its just plug and play. Hope that helps

once you get the cruise installed, it still wont work. you will have to bring truck back to the dealer and have them flash the pcm for the install upgrade. or you will keep getting a communication error

No, I was not including the price to flash the truck so it will recognize the cruise control. My local dealership will charge $45 once I get the cruise installed. I am just talking about buying the kit itself or the separate parts from a dealership. I checked online and they are similar at every dealership that offers online ordering.

Have you checked at Mopar.biz? I've found they're usually cheaper than the dealers.
