Default Help picking seat covers to save truck from Dog

I have a 2005 Dodge Dakota, club cab with 40/20/40 seats with arm rest that doesn't open. What seat covers should I be searching for and does anyone suggest anything? I have an 8 month chocolate lab who gets real muddy all the time. She has almost ruined my seats (I actually have a seat cover for the passenger for her but it slips around too much). When I get in the covers I am going to have it professionally cleaned!

HELP!

Michele

Welcome to DF Michele!

I've heard that the Wet Okole covers are pretty durable and relatively easy to clean. I haven't had first hand experience with them though but neoprene does seem ideal for your needs. You could also try looking through more outdoor oriented stores/sites like Cabelas.

welcome to the forums, why not get some type of cage you can mount in the bed of the truck to transport the lab to and from, when you are finished just remove. only bring the dog for a drive when he/she is clean

I have the wet okole and love them. I've had them for 3.5 years and they're still in great shape. I also have a 100 lb 5 year old lab and I know what you mean about mud and dirt & these covers are "dog proof".

My Lab/Pointer Mix, Liam, already worked his magic on my seats. I have learned to embrace it. He's worth the mess every now and then! lol

then again, mossberg makes a great product, its a 12 guage shotgun that you can load buck shot in, this should fix the problem, but those wet okleys are the way to go.

How well do they fit the seats? Are they loose enough that it's easy to tell they're a cover or do they fit tight enough people might think it's the upholstry?

I've been thinking about getting some myself, just never knew anybody that had them.

They fit the seats great. They are custom made to the seats and are very tight. Most people think that they are upholstry instead of covers.
