Default Window cleaning question

I couldn't find a post on this so I have to ask. What do you use to really clean your windows? I use regular Windex and can never seem to really get rid of all the hazy stuff on the inside. I also at one time used that stuff that says it will make your windows invisible, (Can't remember the name) and it only worked so-so. Also I'm not a smoker.

I've found it's more technique then cleaning product. I use 2 shop towels, wipe it almost dry with one then go over again with a totally dry towel and it usually comes out pretty good.

Auto specific Windex - without ammonia. That way it wont damage your window tint. Cleans my windows really well. Too well on one occasion. I thought my window was down (it wasn't) went to flip my cig out and smashed my hand into the window which ground the cherry of my cig into the side of my finger/knuckle. Good thing I was parked or I would have wrecked, seeing as I couldn't get the cherry off of my finger. Good times.

i use vinegar for the tuff calcium deposits on the outside, it eats it right away, as for the inside, invisible glass spray works wonders

Thumbs up

Best stuff available.
Follow the directions
Spray on foam, let set a minute,
then wipe with a sheet of crumpled newspaper.
Follow up with second dry newspaper and polish till streak free.

First time may take two applications, but then usually one will do it.

I had a '92 LeBaron that I was ready to replace the windshield,
it was so bad it looked like it was sandblasted, and nothing else worked.
Two app's of this and it looked like new glass.

Don't use a razor blade if your windows have aftermarket tint. It will scratch it. If you have factory tint or no tint and there's contaminants on the window you can use a razor blade or steel wool to clean that. If they're really hazy I found spraying a foaming cleaning on the whole window, then letting it sit for a minute or so before wiping helps to take off the haze. Also, whatever you're using to wipe it with. Keep one side wet and one dry. Meaning spray window, wipe with one side, dry with other side. That should take away any smears.
