Default Functional Ram-Air R/T Hood Scoop

I didn't want to steal Baracis thread so I started this one.
Here are some pics of my first major HP mod. I'm going to try and have an intake pipe bent from the blower to the ram air box. Here are some pics of the design.

I'm surprised there was enough hood clearance for that. How big a difference did that make, if you had to guess.

I wish I could get my hands on a HO hood for a good price, that'd be sweet.

Just guessing.... I don't know 15hp or so over my CAI? It was the first modification I made that really "woke up" the engine. Instead of sucking air through the fender, airbox and filter, into the intake resonator and finally into the TB, the air flow over the hood creates positive pressure in the filter vice negative.

Sure it made the clearance, because I measured and fabricated it that way. Opie on the SOVA site helped me with the fabrication.

That's pretty sweet man. I was thinking of something like that, but don't have the hood to do so. I wonder if I could get one of those fake hood scoops and do everything myself.

Hey, sorry for posting that pic, didn't mean to jack this thread. I deleted the picture.
