Default E-Fan question

From my previous questions I'm sure most have ascertained that my fix-it abilities are less than desired. Anyway, when you install an e-fan do you basically just remove the existing fan, fit the e-fan, and hook up electrical stuff???? I hope.

Did you just use the controller that has a probe go in to the fins? Anyone use the stock temp sensor for the fan controller?

I tried with a splice connector. Didn't work very well probably because the stock wires use a small gauge.

Do you have a picture of how the Taurus fan fits on the rad? I want to be level at the top of the rad to fit the intake I have planned and would rather pick up a Taurus fan then a $300 black magic 180.
