Default Stock Stereo Price?

I'm either looking to sell my stock stereo or trade it for an aftermarket one. My stereo has the IPOD hookup in the front and I have ran Sirius on it. Everything works just fine, but I'm getting some subwoofers. I'm not really sure what to ask for it. I have seen one on E-Bay for $130, not sure if that's a fair price or not. PM me with an offer or trade if you'd like.

Also, what is that wiring connection I need to hook up an aftermarket radio again? If I can get it locally for cheap I'll buy it, otherwise I'll just tap into my cigarette lighter or whatever I need to.

What year is your truck? You have the AUX jack AND the ability to play MP3 cds? 05 models had no AUX jack, 06 models had the AUX jack but couldnt play MP3s, and I think newer models had both.

Which do you have?

What's an MP3 CD? Just a burnt one?

The format of MP3's is much more compressed than those on a standard audio CD. If burned in data format, you can fit upwards of 150+ music files on it, but as a basic audio CD it can hold about 15 (depending on song length). The ability to play burned discs is a plus, but doesn't necessarily mean it can play MP3's, but getting closer!

It's amazing how a stock stereo (like the old Delcos out of GM vehicles) are usually 3x the price to replace than getting an aftermarket, and often better head unit. Good luck selling, I should look at selling mine when I upgrade, with the '08 model, it has all the bells and whistles except for the Navigation.

Sweet, thanks for the info. I'll see if my neighbor has an MP3 CD I can test it with tomorrow.

Default I'm looking for a radio

How much do you want for it?

I currently am using my iPhone thru an fm transmitter with my '05 Dakota.
It's ok, but I travel between areas and usually have to mess with switching the transmitter's broadcast frequency. It's a pain to mess with it.

Also, the noise that is made thru the speakers is quite annoying.

If I use the small aux port on the front of the radio, will I still get that annoying sound thru the speakers when data is being sent or recieved?
