french, the way i see it, its your truck. do what ever you dam please to it. phuc the rest. each of us has their own way of customizing their rig. i went for the pavement pounder with the nitrous, others went with the leveling kit and larger tires. if you feel the truck is bad a$$ than thats all that matters, what would be nice. is if you had a factory original pic and then the after market pic side by side.

You know, that probably has a lot to do with why my opinion is what it is on this subject. As a graphic designer, I've had my stuff "copied", imitated, and so on, more times than I prefer to count. If you think having someone want to emulate a mod on a truck is over the top, try this on...

A few years ago (10 maybe?), when I was doing a tremendous amount of t-shirt designs every year, I saw an opportunity to add tribals into my designs, since the look was starting to become popular in other applications, and no one had started doing it in the racing t-shirt world I worked in. It seemed to go over pretty well, but guess what. Later that year, and for about 4 years after that, at least 1/4 of the shirts I would see had similar tribal art incorporated in the design. I'm sure I would have been justified in being pissed that my idea was hijacked, but instead I saw it kinda' as a form of flattery, like the saying says.

Things is I don't care if anyone copies behind the grille... it'll never be seen, plus I copied that idea from eric...

What I do care about, is ppl copying the actual grille, and tailgate painting...

Ill have to agree for you to keep posting pics but your tailgate painting isnt new...its pretty unique for our trucks....and well you put some work into that cause its painted but they sell them here too

of course im guessing if you did it yourself you didnt spend 150 bucks so good work!

I see now. Some pics were pulled.....because you didn't want anyone to copy your painted tailgate? Please tell me this is a rib. Otherwise I might have to describe you as a female deodorizing agent.....possibly manufactured by Massingill. Frenchy, does this thread give you a not-so-fresh feeling?
