I remember when people would give frenchy crap for doing something. I think someone even said the word butcher at one point or another... I can see why he's gotten a bit bitter. with everyone trashing him a while back.
but now, thats a sweet 3rd gen dakota. The front of that truck is more than just flat black spray paint. What about the beveled area where the emblem used to be on the grill? did anyone even notice that it was gone? Its a lot more than just paint and moving stuff around.

I know I don't have a lot of say in this forum yet, being still new to the site, but I am upset I missed the pics. I'm a graphic designer and I love seeing what other people can do with creativity, and sometimes in my career I look at other designs, not to get ideas to copy, but to get my creative juices flowing. Would still be nice to see what it looks like... and kudos for trying new stuff, I'm too chicken to mod beyond the simple stuff yet.

Speaking of mods. I put some of the Gila "static-cling" window tint of my front/side door windows. Really easy install, by the stuff is not very clear. I would not recommend using this product. I'm leaving it on for now, it does cut the heat, and looks the same from the outside.
I ordered a JVC KD-AHCD59 head unit and front and rear Polk DB component speakers today. It's nice to know the rep. They should compliment my carver amp and Kicker sub well. Write up and photos coming as soon as I get install time.

Damn Frenchy, I gotta agree with Chase... Who cares if they say they are going to paint their cross members? Hell, they are rusting out so much someone has to do something. I Like to see what other people are doing with their trucks. I have my own ideas on what I want my truck to look like and like to compare the differences and similarities...

If you didn't want anyone to copy your mods
why post on the worldwide web?
Better lock that truck up in a vault,
that guy driving behind you might be taking a video of all your mods
to copy them and may just live a few blocks away!
I visit this site as well as a Chrysler Site and a Thunderbird Site,
I've seen the same temper trantum "IM GONNA DELETE ALL MY PICTURES"
on all three sites. Guess what, the sites continue and in a few weeks your forgotten.
You get you fifteen minutes of attention and the world keeps spinning.
Yea, and then go back and delete all their posts about their mods!

Frenchy, I'm sorry man but it looks like your truck is being cloned, lol. I know you don't like it. I know that I have inspired at least six dakota owners to add a scoop and make it functional. Take care brother.
