Default Cloth interior water stains

Folks I have an 06 with a bluish grey cloth interior. Noticed a couple of minor spots recently and took the same action I have sucessfully taken with many other cars in the past. That is I moistened a cloth and tried to rub the spot out. Not only did the spot not come out, the area I rubbed now has an annoying water stain. Anyone have any suggestions other than don't rub water into the cloth?

Water stained your dakota seats? I could probably take a **** on mine and they wouldn't stain. I use some really good stuff for taking out stains, I'll post the name when I get off work...hopefully soon. I'm ****** tired.

LA's Totally Clean is the stuff I use. DO NOT, DO NOT get this crap on vinyl, if you do, clean it off asap or it will eat holes in it.

Emery, your sig looks awesome!

That's the stuff! My neighbor only uses high end crap on his tahoe, and he swapped over to this stuff. He's also the one that sprayed it on his vinyl seats and had holes eaten in it. haha. If this stuff won't take it out, you need it steam cleaned.
