Default Pics from 4x4'n

This weekend, we decided to take the dak over a 13,000 foot pass. We happen to find a few off roading trails that were on the way. Over all, the Dak didn't incounter any issues at all, including a mud pit (where a 1993 F-250 was stuck.) It was REALLY slippery going through there. I didn't get a chance to get a shot of me crossing the river to get there...damn.

Nice pics, I wouldn't dare take my 4x2 truck out in that, lol. That is why I have the wife's 07 4x4 Durango.

Looks fun, but a 4x2 can handle that with ease. I buried my **** up to the back axle today and climbed out in 4 low.

Unless you had a locker in the rear, and a good amount of momentum, no one would have gotten out of that in 2 wheel drive. But 4x4 wasn't that bad...more of just a fun day.

My buddy wanted to see if i could make it through a sand trap in reverse. Halfway through it dug in hard. After I pulled out of it we went back and looked. You could see the outline of my skid plates in the sand. She was definitely buried.

Thanks. Its about an hour west of Denver, Mount Evans area. The pass went to about 13,000ft (above timberline). As always, the scenery is amazing. It's a little different seeing all the trees below your elevation. The only thing that was on the ground was tundra and snow....yep....snow.....at the end of May............welcome to Colorado.
