I would look at plugs, since its a cheap fix, and if they are still stock, at 64K its time anyway.

Does it sound like the belt is slipping?

I had the autolites in there a year ago but the dealer changed them back to champion to see if that was the problem but it wasn't.

I haven't heard the belt slip but if I get into the gas after a turn, it struggles and then finally you can feel the torque kick in. It's if you had a manual trans and you took a turn and started to go in 3rd gear which feels like it won't go anywhere due to being in to high of a gear. Hopefully this makes sense.

I've have tried that a couple of times and it didn't do it. I've even turned the AC off on a warm day and it would still do it.

When I had it at the dealer, they reprogrammed the PCM and then replaced it. If they were getting normal readings from the trans off the PCM, could it still be something with the trans? I also had them check the trans cooler and they said it was fine.

It's a weird and annoying thing that goes on with it. My dad has a 01 4x2 quad with the same 4.7 and his truck runs sooo much quicker and faster.
