Thanks for all of the compliments guys. It is still a work in progress, but I think it's coming along nicely. I have always loved Coondog's truck.
Cuban, I will see if I have a picture of the rear for you. Long day today. The steering extension is part of the kit and a snap to do. Everything steers and feels good driving still.

Ah, here you go Cuban, not a real good pic, but you can kind of see what it looks like back there now. You can definately see the tire, and I think if I repainted the hitch it would look not to bad. This pic is without the rear blocks in, but of course that doesn't change what the spacing to the bumper is.

Superdak, thanks for the heads up on the gaps, I am working on that. My dad has an old heavy inner tube kicking around somewhere at his cabin that I am going to see if it will work. I don't know what else to use, any ideas?
As far as the frame, I don't know if I am going to put side steps on or not. Still thinking about it.

thanks sled! you can buy gap gaurds from where you got your lift... but all it is, is an overpriced peice of quarter inch rubber! a black floor mat lke one used for the back or bench seat will work! well anything around 3 feet long and easally trimable for that matter! hope this helps!

Yeah, it's 3 inches. I got home last night and walked by the truck and realized I have really got to do something about that quickly. It definately detracts from the look.

a black outdoor rubber floor mat " like a runner" is the same thing basically i paid 50 bucks for from "PA" where i got the lift.... you need like a 9" by 3 foot strip!
