Red face

one more question about the notch/dremel tool. Do I need the cutting wheel for this, or what? I am also assuming from what I saw in the online manual that I need to drain the coolant...

Anyone running the Jets stat?

I need to change mine on my truck because now that summer it here mine is running on the middle line all the time and sometime over a little.

Does anyone know if the 3.7and 4.7 use the same stat?

Does the jet stat have a fail safe? So it will just remain open if the thermostat ever fails instead of sticking closed?

Does the cheap Napa one have the same thing?

I dont mind having to cut the notch, I just dont want a P.O.S. for a thermostat.

There is nothing wrong with the, "NAPA" therm'. I installed one and it's working just fine. My truck is still running warmer then I feel it should. However, I can see the needle dip down when the thermostat opens. I think I have other problems other then the thermostat. Cutting the little notch is simple and should take all of 2-3 minutes with a dremel tool.
