Sorry I know that this is an old thread but am new to the forum and the gauge. was just wondering if someone might be able to tell me how long it might take to program the SG2 right out of the box to fit a Dodge Grand Caravan Sport 3.3L v6 with FFV. sounded like a good product I bought mine not only to use as a tool but as a gauge as well since my gas cap has been giving me fits I even bought a new one and still no luck 'course it isn't oem but it is new.... could that be a problem?

Go to setup and enter your vehicle specs. I spent about 5-10 min setting mine up for my car. I had to look up an extra "xgauge" code I wanted for turbo boost. Those take some time since theres a lot of numbers to enter.

If I was getting a leak from a gas cap, I would only replace with OEM. Aftermarket gas caps tend to leak .... expecially the Frams from what I have read. A few google seaches should tell you how well an aftermarket gas cap performs. Im sure there are some out there that may do ok.
